Starting a Home Church
Starting a home church isn't as complicated as it sounds. 6-10 people are enough to be a healthy and effective church. There are a few questions you need to answer as a group. It is best to study scripture related to these topics before discussing. We recommend using the Discovery Bible Study for this and, especially if you have any "not yet believers", going through the Disciple Making DBS list of studies first.
Worship
How will you worship?
Do any of you play music?
What style music will you play?
Will you select songs before the service or during?
Is someone in charge of music? Can everyone request music?
Will you play downloaded music? From a CD?
You could watch IHOPs 24/7 prayer and worship stream online.

Below is a playlist of modern hymns and songs based on the Psalms.
Sermons/Lessons
Will someone preach a sermon? How? Who? How long?
Maybe you will watch sermons online.
Will someone teach? Will the sermons be self written or will you get lessons from somewhere else? We recommend publications from either Herold and Banner press or Old Paths.

Accountability
One thing the corporate church is lacking is accountability to actually put the teaching into practice. If you're going to have a home church, you may as well have a solution for this. The Discovery Bible Study method is a great way to build accountability directly into your church model. The Discovery Bible Study is designed to hold each other accountable to the lessons learned.
